Argyro Christodoulides (Argy) is a Guildhall School of Music & Drama (London) graduate. Since 2005 she has been working as a freelance composer and her list of works includes music and songwriting for award winning international feature and short films, animations, TV series, video games and other media. She received 'Best original score' nomination from St Kilda Film Festival in Australia, composed music for National Geographic's video games, for Discovery ID, FOX sports channel, CBS2, BBC2, Channel 4, VH1, HBO, ITV, award winning animations, works for orchestras, theatre productions and TV commercials. Some of her classical works are published by Billaudot Publishing House, Paris (France).  

 

Argy is also a published singer/songwriter in the US and her songs so far received placements in well known TV series on CBS2 channel. Every year since 2017 she is invited to participate as an expert judge on the ESC (Eurovision Song Contest) jury panels of Switzerland and Germany for the selection of songs and artists. In 2019 and 2022, Argy was nominated Musician of the Year by the Madame Figaro awards and towards the end of 2022 she composes and produces the music for all the new Sigma TV channel idents.

Argy is currently composing the original score for the documentary film ‘Beyond The Game’ (USA) by executive producer and director Susan Sember, featuring interviews and stories of Sports celebrities and other key figures of the Sports industry. The premiere will take place in 2023, in the USA.
